NINA McNEELY is a director, Emmy-winning choreographer, visual artist and provocateur.

Madly in love with people, Nina is endlessly fascinated by the human condition. She sees the body in motion as both poignant and poetic, capable of expressing what words cannot, and the chemistry between people as an electric force unto itself.
 

Her work is visceral, rebellious and rowdy, yet equally introspective, delicate and alluring. Drawn to contradiction, she creates worlds where beauty and brutality, intimacy and spectacle, control and abandon coexist. Her visual language is rooted in the body, rich with iconography, and drawn toward beauty with teeth: images that seduce, disturb, and linger somewhere between the real and the subconscious.
 

Nina choreographed the iconic single-take dance sequence in Gaspar Noé’s Climax, directed and choreographed Doja Cat’s Paint the Town Red, and won an Emmy for her choreography on HBO’s The Idol. Some of her favorite collaborators include Björk, Andrew Thomas Huang, The Weeknd, Rihanna, Melanie Martinez, Fujii Kaze and black midi.
